Place: Cd. Juarez, MX (across the US border from El Paso, TX)

Our team worked in the poor, western part of the city, sharing the love of Christ using food and new shoes as tangible evidence of His love. We assisted 2 other ministries in Juarez with their food pantries which touch up to 70 families. We also visited 2 orphanages and 15 families on our own with gifts of food. Bruce was also able to spend time with 3 households we have ongoing relationships with to encourage them to stay united with Christ as seen in John 15 which says Christ is the vine, we are the branches.
We came back into the U.S. extremely tired, but very content as we saw the Lord make connections for us and do things only He could do. Let Christ receive the thanks and glory for our time in the Mexican desert. This was our 2nd Food Trip in 2010 to this area.
